Q:  How much will this program cost me?
A:  Tuition and fees: (approximately) $5,740
     Books and supplies: (approximately) $1,200

 

No On-campus room and board is offered at this time but will be available Fall 2017

 

Q:  What financing options are available to help pay for this program?
A:  You may be eligible to receive financial aid depending on your income and family circumstances. However, Sisseton Wahpeton College does not provide student loans. There are many scholarships available              providing a student applies.

 

Program Success Rate

 

Q:  How long will it take to complete this program?
A:  The program is designed to take four to five semesters depending upon the Dakota language skills. This would be on a half-time basis or full-time along with the Dakota Studies associates degree.

 

Q:  What are my chances of getting a job when I graduate?
A:  The class of 2014-2016 have all had 100% employability in the teaching Dakota studies area. In fact some are being employed before they complete the program.

 

Q:  Job placement rate for students who completed this program?
A:  Sisseton Wahpeton College is not currently required to calculate a job placement rate for program completers.

Q:  How long will it take to complete this program?
A:  Once the pre-requisites are met, the actual nursing classes will take 11 months. In the last class 100% finished in 11 months.

 

Q:  What are my chances of getting a job when I graduate?
A:  The class of 2015 has 100% of the students employed in the medical area.

 

Q:  Job placement rate for students who completed this program?
A:  Sisseton Wahpeton College is not currently required to calculate a job placement rate for program completers.
