Title: Director of Institutional Research & Programs
Name: Scott Morgan
Office Hours: 9am – 5pm
One of the primary responsibilities of the Sponsored Programs Office is to ensure that the proper regulations, policies and procedures are being adhered to in the management of the federal grants received by the college. Institution research is a vital component of successful planning and the management of the college by the SWC Administration and Board of Trustees.
I am the Principal Investigator of the National Science Foundation’s TCUP grant at the college, which has been critical in the development of our Behavioral Science Program. I also serve as the Project Direct on the Title III grants funded by the Department of Education.
One of the great opportunities I get working at SWC is to be an adjunct instructor. Being in the classroom brings everything else back in to perspective, so teaching a sociology or history course is often my highpoint of the week.
I received a MS in Public Safety, with a specialization in Criminal Justice, from Capella University in 2015. I received a B.U.S from North Dakota State University in 1990
